Prevention of smoking from the teaching-learning process of Natural Sciences in seventh grade

At the present time, the tabaquismo is a problem that affects to the society, which brings I get different consequences so much physical as social and, in some cases, psychological in the individuals, because the damages to the health associated to the consumption of the tobacco cause more than half millions of deaths in the world. Specifically, the adolescents constitute a vulnerable group for the access to noxious habits that affect their health, being observed that every day, the tabaquismo begins in the early adolescence, for what the activities of prevention are very necessary. The objective of this article is to diagnose the knowledge and the behaviors of the students of seventh 1 of the Urban Basic High School Carlos Juan Finlay of the First municipality of January related with the prevention of the tabaquismo. For the realization of the diagnosis, they were designed and they applied four instruments: guide of revision of documents, interviews to educational, it interviews and guide of observation of the acting of the students in the different activities of the process of teaching-learning of Natural Sciences. The obtained results allowed to verify limited knowledge related with the tabaquismo, the factors of risk, as well as the illnesses caused by this, as well as faulty interest to adopt a responsible behavior before the prevention of the tabaquismo.
