Current practices often fall short, with ineffective methods and inadequate teacher training hindering student development. The 5E model, emphasizing engagement, exploration, explanation, elaboration, and evaluation, promotes active student learning and aligns with constructivist principles. By incorporating this approach, teachers can foster a more dynamic and engaging learning environment, improve student motivation, and ultimately enhance their oral and written communication skills in English. The study explores the theoretical underpinnings of the 5E model, its implementation strategies, and its potential benefits for both students and teachers. It also addresses strategies from the didactic point of view, with methodological recommendations based on theoretical foundations of this methodology. It is also based on the micro-curriculum organized to carry out the mechanical, meaningful and communicative practice in the classroom, as a learning goal for oral and written communication today, with the intention to reinforce the teaching of micro-oral and written communication skills in a cyclical way in correspondence with levels of pedagogical-didactic-methodological help offered for the planning, execution and control of the 5E lesson, lead to the achievement of didactic coherence of the teacher, which is also favored by the integration of contents of other subjects of the curriculum of the grade in each case, which brings communication in the foreign language closer to real life. While not underestimating the seriousness of the outcome, it is true that imprisonment as a penalty, generally imposed in these cases, is highly risky and ineffective in modern societies. In most cases of this type, the perpetrator of the crime does not exhibit maladaptive behavior. Furthermore, the victims' families, even while suffering from the pain and suffering caused by sudden death in accidents, might accept other more effective mechanisms for repairing the damages incurred. Although this would not completely restore what was lost, it would at least prevent the internment of an offender who does not need it to understand the unfavorable consequences of their actions. The study aimed to evaluate alternatives to prevent those guilty of negligent vehicular homicide from serving a sentence in a social rehabilitation center. Theoretical methods were employed, such as historical, exegesis, logical deductive reasoning, analysis, and synthesis, among others. The results indicated the possibility of utilizing conciliation or mediation between the offender and the victims' families for comprehensive reparation and imposing other subsidiary or alternative penalties that do not involve internment.
Soledad Paulette Montesinos Vega Daniela Estefanía Viteri Proaño Armando Rogelio Durán Ocampo Copyright (c) 2025 Soledad Paulette Montesinos Vega, Daniela Estefanía Viteri Proaño, Armando Rogelio Durán Ocampo https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-01-22 2025-01-22 16 1 223 247 Diagnosis of the development of independent work aimed at socio-educational inclusion in the training of graduates in Pedagogy and Psychology. https://revistas.ult.edu.cu/index.php/didascalia/article/view/2141
The diagnosis allows for an examination of the main deficiencies and potentialities that manifest in a process, enabling a conscious analysis of the same. Particularities adopted by that process at the colonial Cuba https://revistas.ult.edu.cu/index.php/didascalia/article/view/2168

This work pretends a re-evaluation of Modernity at the colonial Cuba, since the conceptions of the historical-philosophical trend appointed Decolonial Option. The scientific problem that justifies this analysis, is the perception that the studies of and the pedagogical approach to that global sociohistorical process, continue influenced by the traditional eurocentric point of view, phenomenon related to the staunchness achieved by the Soviet-biased historical materialism in our academical environment; and that guideline also influences the treatment of the national history. The objective of the text, thus, is to propose an alternative way to appreciate the Cuban historical movement since the 16th through the 19 th centuries, which turns around conceptual knots as the myth of the eurocentric and ethnocentric Modernity, the diversity of modernities, the Otherness and the Trans-modernity. The fulfillment of such an objective, would produce as results an analysis of the particularities of the Modernity at the colonial Cuba and a synthesis materialized in its conceptualization. The methods privileged at this exercise, have been that of the relationship of the logic and the historic, which includes the diachronic and synchronic foci in the analysis of the process; and the hermeneutic, which enables the interpretation of the text, the contents and the speeches of the bibliographical sources consulted. As a way of conclusions, the theoretical-conceptual corps which make up the decolonial thought, its application to the Cuban colonial Modernity to elucidate its particularities, and a synthesis of these ones materialized in the conceptualization of the phenomenon, will be succintly exposed.
Keywords: Modernity, Decolonial Option, colonial Cuba
Nuvia Artigas Almarales. Hemingway https://revistas.ult.edu.cu/index.php/didascalia/article/view/2172
The figure of Ernest Hemingway, Nobel Prize winner in literature, is widely known nationally and internationally. He was a man of a turbulent and complex life that has earned him the admiration of friends and detractors alike. He has a very descriptive literary style that transports the reader to the landscape he describes in his works. He has been an active participant in the most important historical events that occurred during the 20th century, which he has narrated with an almost cinematic description that shows the veracity of his narrative from fiction and creative recreation in his literary style. Precisely this way of narrating, of describing what is narrated, gives the geographer a knowledge of the landscapes with an integrality characteristic of the everyday approach to Geography, which allows the description of what is observed in its most humanistic conception, since Hemingway does not only describe the landscape, but also its influence on human behavior. The works written by this author provide a different vision and motivation to learn about the geographic elements characteristic of the places described in his texts. Using the general dialectical materialist method, research is developed with the objective of demonstrating the geographical contributions of the literature written by Ernest Hemingway for the development of the approach to everyday life in the teaching-learning process of Geography.
Marcos Antonio Santana Hernández Wilver Orlando Aguilera de Paz Copyright (c) 2025 Marcos Antonio Santana Hernández, Wilver Orlando Aguilera de Paz https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-01-22 2025-01-22 16 1 369 392 Methodology for learning technological work methods https://revistas.ult.edu.cu/index.php/didascalia/article/view/2194
The training of Technical and Professional Education professionals is a priority to guarantee a qualified workforce, which provides a comprehensive response to the demand required by economic and social development through learning the specific content of each specialty. It is identified as a scientific problem: How to contribute to the learning of technological work methods in the Basic Electronics subject, for the Medium Electrical Technician?
