Abstract

The main problem in the learning of Physics III in High School No. 32 of UAGro (Acronyms in Spanish for Universidad Autónoma de Guerrero) is the difficulty of students to retain information, analyze, solve problems and perform practical exercises. This is evident in passive participation, lack of motivation and poor results in exams and evaluations, indicating problems in the current didactic strategy. This article is a result of an international inter-institutional collaboration. It projects the author's doctoral research advised by the co-author. The proposed solution is to implement a strategy focused on problem solving and practical exercises, which would allow students to apply theoretical knowledge to real situations, developing critical thinking skills and deep understanding of concepts. This didactic strategy would have multiple benefits: it would promote active participation, meaningful learning, intrinsic motivation, collaboration and better academic performance. Its feasibility is high given the access to the institution and participants, the support of managers and teachers, and the available resources. Contributions include theoretical support for the active approach and research on its effectiveness. In practice, it strengthens skills valued in the 21st century. An improvement in students' learning, motivation and academic results would be expected, as well as a solid base for further studies related to Physics. In conclusion, this didactic strategy represents a viable and high-impact solution to enrich the teaching of Physics III in High School No. 32 of UAGro.
