PERMANENT TRAINING EVALUATION AND HISTORICAL TRENDS IN THE EQUATOR

The issue of formative evaluation from any spectrum in any country in the
world is of vital importance and even more so if it is expressed as permanent.
Therefore, it is important to determine the historical trend, which accounts for the evolution and changes it has suffered during history in Ecuador. For the
study the history is defined from the year 1826 to the present, it reveals three
very well defined stages, from the purely mercantilist evaluation to the
formative evaluation regarded as the manager of a culture of permanent
improvement. The present research work tribute to the Pedagogical Sciences
conceptualizing the permanent formative evaluation based on the historical
trends detected, in order to respond to the demands that today Higher
Education in the country govern.
