Abstract

In this article is dealt the formation of teachers in an answer to use ICT in the processes that are held in the educational institutions. Here are analyzed aspects that represent handicaps in the necessary change, as well as some possible solutions. It is described an experience about the formation of teachers about the educative usage of the ICT. It was carried out in the central university from Las Villas, with the support of a telematics interactive platform for distance education developed in such university, named SEPAD. Lastly, some general characteristics of the platform are exposed.
