STRATEGY FOR A SCIENTIFIC PROJECTION OF THE UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE OF TUCUPITA, VENEZUELA

The present investigations took as a study area an institution that belongs to an educational sector of the People Ministry for the University Education, and it started at the insufficiencies in the management of science and technology, manifested in the limited diffusion of the work of scientific character and as objective it is designed a scientific strategy and its forms of implementation, having as its premise an adjusted methodology to its specificities. A theoretical study allows a review of the significant bibliographic review volume on the management of science and technology, and its strategic projection, as well as specific regulatory documents in the education sector. The methodological strategy was developed including its steps, using criteria of the members of the own institution. The strategy was applied to a sample classified into two levels: level managers and coordinators, operational level (groups of teachers and department areas of research division). The information permitted to gather elements on the projection of the institution and the need to incorporate new concepts that help improve the management of science and technology as well as the prospective development of it.
