Abstract

This article is part of a much broader research project on the learning process of socially disadvantaged high school students. Its main objective is to model the self-esteem education in socially disadvantaged high school students. The model includes three subsystems: Self-awareness education, Education of attitudes and feelings toward themselves, Education of regulatory potential of the self-esteem. Each of the subsystems and their components also is defined. In addition, the article argues the principal relations established between the components of each subsystem, and these between themselves to achieve the self-esteem education in these students.
