Abstract

Various international organizations recognize education as a strategic area for the application of artificial intelligence (AI), given its capacity to expand educational access and enhance learning achievements. In recent years, the growing understanding of the scope and applications of AI has placed this topic at the epicenter of debates in university institutions globally, addressing issues ranging from the protection of academic integrity to the renewal of curricula. Accordingly, this article aims to develop a pedagogical strategy that trains university professors in the effective integration of AI into their classes, in order to foster the development of civic competencies in students.
