The socio-educative role of the student of the Pedagogy Psychology major from the perspective of scientific groups

Abstract

This research is linked to the sectorial project "Development of Socio-educational Skills for the Care of Children, Adolescents, and Young People in Vulnerable Situations," whose objective is to contribute methodological elements based on the experience of a student research group called the Integrated Socio-educational Student Research Network. To this end, theoretical methods such as analysis-synthesis and systems approach are employed, along with empirical methods such as observation, surveys, interviews, user and expert opinions, and methodological triangulation, ensuring rigor and relevance in the comprehensive training of future professionals. The sample consists of 25 students, and the partial introduction of the results takes place in the 30 de Noviembre community, where the feasibility and effectiveness of the work is evident in strengthening pre-professional performance through the coherent integration of core university processes. The initial training of students in the Pedagogy-Psychology program equips them to provide support to the people with whom they interact, assuming a socio-educational role as guidance agents. This role is based on the integration of scientific knowledge with social practice, transcending the classroom space towards the guidance of subjects, participation in community projects, student scientific groups and the promotion of values.
