Abstract

With the fundamental purpose of evaluating the virtual training of students in the subject of applied research in the MOODLE computer platform at the Technical University of Manabí, an analytical-descriptive study is applied, focused on the analysis of the use virtual classrooms in the teaching-learning process, to respond with quality to the diversity of learning contexts in Higher Education and to the particular focus of this digital era. In the work, legal base literature that characterizes the modality is explored, with key concepts, and inherent to the dimensions of the object of study, records of qualifications, defections and reprobation obtained in the 2016 period, contrasted with the class design and criteria that They mark the level of satisfaction of those involved. Its semi-organized characteristic and deficient connectivity are determined in relation to the student's low reading-writing level that does not allow achieving desired results, concluding that the research requires integrating the theory in real contexts assisted by the teacher.
