Abstract

The educative practice is a social fact by itself; therefore it is within historical, economical, ideological, political, ecological and cultural multi-determinations; so that its comprehension requires starting from a whole vision. In this practice, the curriculum belongs to particular issues as the pedagogical foundation, the aims of the educative policy of each country and organization, they are made by the cultural capital in the curricular content, the trends related to styles, approaches and educative fashion, the different ways or modalities of education. The curriculum is developed in societies, where it plays an important role in the political and ideological fields to determine the ways which permit to implement the educational aims; they are expressed in the curricular designs finally. On the other hand, to question by the meaning of educate is relevant, but it is necessary to advise this answer isn´t static, like all human activity, otherwise it changes all of the time. In this sense, it emerges explainable the importance of the education in values related to the transversal axis in the curriculum. This trend discovers a different challenge related to the students´ values formation, who have previous knowledge and cognitive openness with the capability of assimilation in real and contextual situations, by means of a suitable socialization and a guide can contribute by themselves, to produce the change or at least the beginning of the necessary change to achieve a fairest, most equitable and human society.
