Abstract

Information society characterized by access to a wealth of information, exponential generation of new knowledge, speed and fluidity in social interactions requires students to develop skills in the use of information technology and communication (ICT) to support their integration into society and profit from them in the process of teaching and learning. Digital skills are associated with the management of ICT and its use for proper integration into society of the information and its use in education. These competencies consider the search, analysis, selection, organization of information and its use to generate new personal and collaborative products and share in networks on the web society. The article places the problem of digital skills and raises models to assess the level of acquisition of her students.
