Abstract

The research is based on an analysis of theoretical and methodological aspects for the study of North American architecture in wood established in Cuba at the beginning of the 20th century in agrarian communities. It is based on the work carried out in the localities located in the central strip of Las Tunas and others in the eastern region of the island. The problem identified consisted of how to investigate and write the history of North American architecture in wood from agricultural communities so that it reveals its specificities? The complexity of this problem led to the development of a set of requirements for this type of study. For this, the methods of observation, comparison, analysis and indiction-deduction are used
