Abstract

The Artificial Intelligence finally emerges from some works published in the decade of 1940 that did not have great repercussion at that time. Turing's approach of seeing Artificial Intelligence as an imitation of human behavior was not so practical over time and the dominant approach has been that of rational agent. Artificial Intelligence has reached beyond science fiction, today is a very broad field of study and constantly changing. Three practical applications of high impact are presented: machine learning, conversational agents and causal reasoning. The work analyzes the impact of Facebook, as a tool for collaborative learning of Artificial Intelligence. The results of a survey applied to the students and the engagement generated by the different types of publications are shown. This information coincides with what is reported in the literature of being the videos, which generally generates the highest engagement among users. Additionally, the perception is reinforced that Facebook generates mostly positive perceptions as well as a sense of community reinforcing this social network as an alternative to the online learning management system.
