Abstract

The Cuban Special Education is constantly searching for new alternatives to favour a greater and better stimulation of the visual perception in children with strabismus and amblyopic, from the pedagogical process. In the article, which stems from a doctor’s thesis, the main criteria that govern the design of a pedagogical model for the visual perception stimulation in children with strabismus and amblyopic are approached. The theoretical grounds assumed for the design of such a model are also revealed. In addition, the systemic relations which are established among the components of each subsystem and the system as a whole are analyzed in depth.
