THE TRAINING TO LOCAL LEADERS FOR THE SOCIAL INCLUSION OF PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NECESSITIES

Abstract

In order to achieve spaces in the communities that allow the inclusion of people with special educational needs associated with a disability, the participation of local leaders is essential from the modification of their social representations from the training. This process puts the protagonists in a position of change in the social context by real evaluation of the conditions and potential of each community. For this, it is based on the theoretical level methods that allow a comparative view and from the national and international background for the development of the subject. For their part, the empirical methods, made possible by the application of the theory of Social Representations, the diagnosis of social representations in the local leaders of the popular council Rivas Fraga of the municipality of Ciego de Ávila on social inclusion. Giving way to a training strategy that, from health promotion, articulates the social transformation for a disadvantaged social group and that contributes to the personological development of those with educational needs, from social and community interaction.
