Abstract

The following investigation was carried out with the objective of determining dependencies of children with special educational needs in the activities of daily life and the influence of the anxiety of the caregivers of the Sam Miguel Foundation of the Salcedo canton. The same was done with the caregivers of the special children of the San Miguel Foundation of the Salcedo canton, where the number of caregivers was 32 total number of attendants to the foundation that means all those who attend the different therapies The information was collected through the Katz Index which identifies the dependency and independence in the activities of daily life measuring several areas such as: Bathing, dress, toilet utilization, mobility, feeding, continence, and the Hamilton Anxiety Test with which it is measured the levels of anxiety
