Today's world is characterized by rapid scientific and technological development and, consequently, by a volume of information as never before seen that demands a permanent search for improvement in the curricula of professional training, specifically if it is about health, area of Great sensitivity in the social and economic development of a country, however, in Ecuador there are insufficiencies in the training of the Senior Technician in Nursing (TSE) for primary health care work in the community that limit their professional performance and are expressed In the contradiction that exists between the design of community practices by the educational institution and preventive community work as a social training need that does not meet the expectations raised by the Bolivarian Technological Institute in its academic formation.
