The work on the Historical Route to the Battle of Palo Seco National Monument is of vital importance for the participants' knowledge of history and for them to become aware of the value of understanding the continuity of the Cuban Revolution, the meaning of unity or lack of it in the struggles of the Cuban people and once again contribute to the realization of the response that Cuban patriots have given to each aggression, which is why we propose a plan of patriotic activities of visits to the historical site of the battle out of necessity of the analysis of each fact, personality, story, customs and identity. Palo Seco is recorded in the annals of Cuban History as one of the transcendental military feats of Máximo Gómez during the emancipatory campaigns in the Ten Years' War. Currently, the studies of History and its connection constitute a reality of Cuban education. with Local History, strengthening the values, patriotic and revolutionary feelings of our present and future generations, demonstrating the value of understanding the continuity of the Cuban Revolution in the current moments, seen from the studies of historical documents, the analysis and the synthesis of each fact to achieve the induction to the formation of values and the validity of history in the ideological battles waged by the people of Jobabo.
