Abstract

The training of the chemical engineer requires being in line with scientific-technological advances. In this process, it is necessary to reinforce, from basic subjects, such as Organic Chemistry, the applications of the properties of substances, through experimental activities. The main laboratory operations of the subject and the industrial unit operations and processes have the same theoretical bases. This allows the connection of the theoretical contents of the subject with the actions of the chemical engineer. The work presents a didactic proposal for the professionalization of the Organic Chemistry subject experimental activities to the Chemical Engineering career.
