The insertion of the Academic Portals has been of great progress in the universities for their contribution to the improvement of teaching in the educational teaching process for what is required of a teacher better prepared and that is endowed with the professional skills that allow him to manage the information and multiplying it to the students in such a way that it constitutes a resource for learning. This work offers, from the definition and functions of an Academic Portal, a necessary contribution for its concretion and introduction in the educational practice.
