REFLECTIONS NECESSARY ABOUT THE DIDACTIC TREATMENT OF THE VALENCIA CHEMICAL CONCEPTS AND NUMBER OF OXIDIZATION

The formation of concepts is a fundamental aspect in the appropriation of chemical knowledge, hence teaching these concepts with an appropriate methodological treatment is of vital importance in the teaching of chemistry in middle and high school. In the work some reflections are made to take into account, on the concepts of valence and number of oxidation, not to make mistakes when representing certain structures of molecules and also expose some simple procedures to achieve this goal.
